ForecastEx is a CFTC-regulated exchange for Forecast Contracts — simple Yes/No instruments on key economic, climate, and political events. Prices range from $0.01 to $0.99, reflecting the market's live view of how likely each event is.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Interactive Brokers, ForecastEx LLC operates as both a designated contract market and derivatives clearing organization, live since August 2024.
ForecastEx touts lower fees than any competitor, and it pays you to wait: the Incentive Coupon program passes the interest earned on member funds back to Members. Retail access is through qualified FCMs — most simply via Interactive Brokers' commission-free ForecastTrader.
